Put a READI button on your website

Your website button lets customers request a collection from your own site. A company already on READI Collect signs in and requests, and a new company signs up as your subaccount and requests straight away. In this guide we set up the button, see what a visitor sees, and find the requests it brings in.

Step 1

Set up your button

The button lives with your registration link. It appears once READI Collect has switched it on for you, after your agreement is in place. Choose how it looks, then paste one line onto your website.

Team Information → Links tab → Website button

It appears on the Links tab once READI Collect has switched the button on for your company. Get in touch with us to set it up.

Copy the link under the snippet instead. It opens the same small window from a link on your own page. If your site cannot carry any code at all, use the plain link at the bottom, which opens the page in a new tab.
Is the code in the snippet a secret?
No. It only says the request came through you. Everything that matters happens after the visitor signs in, so it is safe on a public page.
Where do I see the requests?
Under Button requests, further down the same tab. Each one shows the date, the company, the test and its status. Donor details and results stay with the company that requested it.

The preview shows the button as your visitors will see it. Set its text and style, add your own website as the return address, and Save. Copy the snippet into your site where the button should appear. Below it, Button requests lists every collection that came through the button, marking the companies that are your subaccounts.

Steps 2 and 3

What a visitor sees

The button opens a small READI Collect window over your page that says the request is coming through you. Once the request is sent, the window closes and your page says it went through. From there a visitor signs in, or creates an account, and goes straight to the request form.

Your website → Request a READI Collection → the request form

What if they are new to READI Collect?
Create an account signs their company up as your subaccount, with your settings, exactly as your registration link does. They can request their first collection straight away and finish setting up their company later.
What about a company already on READI Collect?
It signs in as usual and keeps its own account and billing. The collection is still credited to you and appears in your Button requests.
Will the page carry my branding?
With a white label, yes: the button opens your own address in your name and colours. Without one, the page shows READI Collect and names you as the company the request comes through. Topic 15 covers the white label.

It names you, then offers to sign in or to create an account. If you added a return address, a link back to your website sits at the bottom.

What is next

Your website now sends collection requests to READI Collect, each one credited to you. That is your side of READI Collect. Your customers use the same guides as everyone else, starting at Topic 1.
